The rain finally took a break and it looks like summer has arrived at last. So for this week’s challenge, ‘close up’, I ventured out into my yard to get a few shots.
Not sure what this thing is but it looks menacing!
This is a young robin that hatched from a nest in my yard not so long ago. It wasn’t looking too healthy for a while but I guess it managed to get better. Nothing like a little sunshine to perk things up.

I do too…I think it’s time for a return next week but maybe with other shots and not just baseball each week depending on the challenge. Haven’t had much to think about the past few challenges and the Pirates are having a great season so it’s something I have to do…lol.

Wow! Not sure which I like best the bug or the robin chick, both brilliant photos. That bug looks like something from a science fiction novel.
