A few weeks back, I toured the Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio where they filmed the movie ‘The Shawshank Redemption.’ The prison closed in 1990 leaving behind a ton of rusted cells and dilapidated administrative offices. Ran across this nasty old ‘mirror’ hanging in one of the cells.
A shot of a local office building with mirrored windows reflecting the clouds on another beautiful summer day.

Haunting photo, Andy. Fantastic shot and reminder of a great movie. And, I love modern building reflections.
Thanks Jane, I drive by that building every day and finally got around to getting the shot i wanted…with a push by the photo challenge. 🙂
The first one really takes my fancy, an intriguing shot.
Thanks, appreciate the comment.
I loved that movie Andy–your photo choice from the cell is wonderful!
Thanks Tina…one of my favorite movies as well. Tour was ok but didn’t feel as much connection with the movie like I did at Alcatraz.
