Earlier this month I was in the Altoona, PA area and dropped in on a minor league baseball game between the Altoona Curve and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. During that game, I got a shot that I think fits this week’s challenge.
Never heard of evanescent before but I’m going with a fleeting moment in time during a baseball game when the Fisher Cats base runner tries to steal second. With his fingertips just inches away from getting in there, he is tagged out by the Curve’s shortstop to end the inning. Great call by the umpire.

Yes the Fisher Cats base runner potential moment of glory disappeared may have disappeared in a moment but that is your gain
Yes it was Abrie…but the Fisher Cats got the last laugh by winning the game.
Ahhh, it must be summer again – baseball is BAACCCKKKK!!!! Great catch Andy
Yes it is and just back from a visit to Cooperstown ready to kick off summer and baseball. Just have a little hockey business to take care of here in Pittsburgh first…lol. Thanks Tina π
