Lens Artists Challenge #91…Simplicity

We’re going for “Simplicity” in this week’s Lens Artists Challenge suggested by Patti.

This shot was hard to get and one I wanted for a long time.  I think I was attracted to exactly what this week’s challenge is all about, the simplicity of a light shining on the side of this old barn.  It’s below a dark road where cars tend to hit the gas and with nowhere to stand I had to snap it out of my car window while keeping one eye on my rear view mirror for any cars coming up on me in a hurry.  But I finally was able to get the shot I wanted.

Another shot I feel is clean and simple…the Hoosier gym in Indiana.

The beach in Ocean City, Maryland.

He hit his tee shot waaay right at Oakmont…lol.

Section 3 at Doubleday Field in Cooperstown, NY.

Thanks to Patti for this week’s Lens Artists Challenge theme.

  1. I love your take on the challenge. Such beautiful photos. I can see why you wanted to capture that gorgeous light on the barn. I also love the shot from Ocean City.

  2. Loved the result of your perseverance in your opener Andy – I can see why you waited for it but please stay out of traffic! Also loved your use of sports to illustrate simplicity – my heart, of course, goes out to the errant golfer 🙂

    • Thanks Tina…sports does tend to find it’s way in 🙂 As far as getting the shot goes, we’re both pretty much the same, I play in traffic and you hang out with alligators…lol.
