We’re going for “Simplicity” in this week’s Lens Artists Challenge suggested by Patti.
This shot was hard to get and one I wanted for a long time. I think I was attracted to exactly what this week’s challenge is all about, the simplicity of a light shining on the side of this old barn. It’s below a dark road where cars tend to hit the gas and with nowhere to stand I had to snap it out of my car window while keeping one eye on my rear view mirror for any cars coming up on me in a hurry. But I finally was able to get the shot I wanted.
Another shot I feel is clean and simple…the Hoosier gym in Indiana.
The beach in Ocean City, Maryland.
He hit his tee shot waaay right at Oakmont…lol.
Section 3 at Doubleday Field in Cooperstown, NY.
Thanks to Patti for this week’s Lens Artists Challenge theme.
I love your take on the challenge. Such beautiful photos. I can see why you wanted to capture that gorgeous light on the barn. I also love the shot from Ocean City.
Thanks Amy…appreciate the comment 🙂
Beautiful photos. Specially like those B&Ws
Thanks I.J. 🙂
I love the golfer and the tee shot. Simple and yet it tells a whole story to me. Nice one!
Thanks Anne…glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Love these examples, well done in photographic terms as well as chices.
Thanks AC…appreciate the comment 🙂
Beautiful photos! I especially love #3 and #4 in black and white. Great light and atmosphere. Thanks for joining the “simplicity” conversation!
You’re welcome Patti. Thanks for the comment 🙂
Loved the result of your perseverance in your opener Andy – I can see why you waited for it but please stay out of traffic! Also loved your use of sports to illustrate simplicity – my heart, of course, goes out to the errant golfer 🙂
Thanks Tina…sports does tend to find it’s way in 🙂 As far as getting the shot goes, we’re both pretty much the same, I play in traffic and you hang out with alligators…lol.
Beautiful photo series! Love the two trees and his tee shot especially.
Thanks Amy…I thought that would be a nice shot when I saw him up on the hill near those trees.
Great examples of simplicity, love the first!
Thanks Ana…appreciate the comment.
Excellent photos, and simple! Good things come to those who wait… in the dark… on a dangerous road…
HaHa…agree, thanks John
