For the photo challenge this week, Amy is requesting pictures of gardens. A while back I was passing thru Akron, Ohio and decided to stop at the Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens. Seventy acres of landscaped grounds and gardens. It was worth the stop…

This zen garden was amazing…
A nice pond and a cool little private seating area.

Thanks to Amy for her idea for the photo challenge this week 🙂
Beautiful place. What a treat!
Thanks John…
Loving that Zen garden.
Me too…thanks for stopping by 🙂
That is a beautiful and special garden. Love these fabulous photos. Thank you for the tour. 🙂
Your welcome Amy, thanks for the comment 🙂
Simply beautiful!
Thanks Anne 🙂
What a beautiful spot Andy. It reminds me a bit of the Biltmore Mansion in nearby NC, also exquisite with beautiful gardens. One wonders what they DID in those days with 65 rooms! It looks like someone still lives in the house because the awnings look so fresh and new, but I’m assuming not. Especially liked your image of the path.
I wondered how they came up with 65 rooms? Why not 50 or 70 rooms…lol. No one lives there now Tina, they just do tours, weddings and some business functions.
