Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #178 – You Choose…

For the photo challenge this week, Tina is asking us to come up with our own subject for our post. With winter just around the corner, I thought it might be a good time to do sort of a fairwell to fall this year post.

Just getting started.
Turning fast.
A little shot of red.
Thoughts of heading south.
Glistening in the sun.
Leaf path.
Up against it.
Sea of leaves.
Remnants.

Thanks to Tina of Travels and Trifles for heading up the challenge this week.

  1. A beautiful post, Andy. In that sea of Ginkgo leaves, I would gladly swim! I love Ginkgo trees, and were fortunate once to see a great many in Beijing, golden, and the people doing their morning gymnastics with swords. All silence. I will never forget that. Since then I have been trying to grow Ginkgo, and now I have a small tree – longing for it to give a sea of leaves too!

  2. Excellent choice Andy – did you take the photos a few weeks back or did you have a late fall this year out there? I absolutely loved the yellow leaves – for some reason I want to say they’re ginkgo, is that true? If not do you know what they are? The “sea of leaves” image is especially wonderful. And I really liked your titles this week. Nicely done.

    • Thanks Tina…these shots are from about three weeks ago. As far as the yellow leaves go, I didn’t know what they were but posted a shot of one on my last post and you said they were ginkgo leaves so I’m going with that…lol.
