One of my favorite Pittsburgh bridges, and we have a bunch of them, is the 16th Street bridge which crosses over the Allegheny River connecting the Strip District and the North Shore. It was renamed the David McCullough Bridge a few years back to honor the local author.

Nice looking bridge. Pittsburgh is definitely on my long list of place I need to visit.
Thanks Irene…one of many bridges here in Pittsburgh.
It is simply amazing the variety of bridges in the world – certainly no cookie cutter recipe. the contrasting colors in the shot catches the eye
Thanks Abrie, they’re getting more and more creative with the bridge designs.
It’s a good one for sure. I went with my Pittsburgh archives but should get out and shoot some new views. We are so lucky to have so many bridges!
Thanks Ruth. We sure do have a ton of bridges…plenty of opportunities out there 🙂
