Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #175 – Follow Your Bliss…

Interesting photo challenge this week offered by guest host Lindy.  She asks us to, in words and photographs, post what shows our sense of wonder and excitement. So I thought I’d start off kinda like that song goes – “Here are a few of my favorite things”…

Watching a baseball game at PNC Park.
Golfing anywhere 🙂
Heading to my local go to nature spot with my camera, Nine Mile Run in Frick Park.

And then there’s that feeling you get when you go someplace where you haven’t been before and there are photo opportunities everywhere. You feel like a kid in a candy store. A few of those places for me were…
Alcatraz Island in San Francisco Bay.
The old Carrie Furnace site in Rankin, PA.
And the Hoosier Gym in Indiana where I got to shoot with my camera and the ball…loved it 🙂

Thanks to Lindy Low Le Coq for the photo challenge theme this week.

    • Ahhh Tina, if I would have only known I would stop growing at 5’9″ I would have picked up a tennis racquet or a golf club when I was younger instead of a basketball. May have missed my calling…lol.

      • LOL, hindsight is always 20-20 Andy. My very good friend’s son has his heart set on a Bball career and as a senior in HS has worked really hard to be terrific but is only 5’10. I expect he’s in for a similar discovery – hopefully sooner vs later!

  1. Great sequence of places and activities that bring you joy Andy! I share a love of baseball with you, and am fascinated by old structures like the Carrie Furnace site. My favorite, of course (being the nature lover I am!) is the autumn colors in Frick Park. Thanks for joining in the fun.
